The World War II and early Baby Boomers cohorts heavily favored American made automobiles. In the ’60s and ’70s, Asian cars started to make a substantial move in the US auto market. Now for Generation Y, Asia has their eyes and dollars. Mitsubishi along with Scions and Mazda garnered over 50 percent of this young generations car buying dollars. While US manufacturers scratch their heads, the long standing Mitsubishi Lancer is pulling in over 30 percent of this market.
As this Asian wave continues, the need for quality used auto parts will be needed to support the market. Finding used car parts for a favorite vehicle, no matter the make or model is easily accomplished using the Internet.
